July 27, 2021 Steven J. Gorman WATERBURY – Steven James Gorman, age 62, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2021. He was the son of Linda (Murphy) Gorman Cariello and the late James Gorman, and John W. Cariello. Steve was born March 14, 1959, in Waterbury, and was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and was later employed for many years by the City of Waterbury as a custodial engineer at Wilby High School. Steve loved his music, especially Tower of Power, which was his favorite band; you could frequently hear Steve’s music blasting from down the street. He also loved hiking and being outdoors where he would appreciate the natural, beautiful scenery the world had to offer. He also loved spending time at the beach soaking up the sun. Steve and his brother shared a love of science fiction movies and would commonly spend their Friday nights having a movie night.
