Fourth of July fireworks cause several fires in the Fayetteville area Several fires were started by fireworks in the Fayetteville area over the Fourth of July weekend, including one that damaged a two-story home and displaced three people, fire officials said.  Around 1:40 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a house fire at 7128 Rockridge Lane in the Landsdowne neighborhood near Jack Britt High School, a news release from the Fayetteville Fire Department said Monday.  Upon arrival, firefighters found three occupants of the house, one adult and two children, already outside while one side of the house was on fire, the release said.
