The Fayetteville Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire in a mobile home on Sunday in the Lafayette Plantation Mobile Home Park neighborhood, a news release said.
Firefighters responded at 11:04 a.m. to 1209 Knotty Elm Loop after a 911 call reporting a possible explosion in the residence. The callers were unsure if anyone was still inside the home after the fire, according to the release.
The cause of a fire in the living room of a Fayetteville home in Tiffany Pines neighborhood was determined accidental, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.
Crews were called out Saturday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. to 2242 Shaw Road Extension to find smoke coming from the single story home.
A fire broke out at Aqua-Rama Pet Center on Bragg Boulevard on Sunday evening, according to a news release from the Fayetteville Fire Department.
A caller reported smoke coming from the roof of the business at 4937 Bragg Blvd., between Mike and Niagara streets, at 7:40 p.m.
The first unit on scene also reported smoke visible from the roof and the incident was upgraded to a working fire, the release said.
Fire broke through the roof shortly after firefighters arrived and one crew declared an emergency due to a ceiling collapse, but were able to safely evacuate, the release said.
Just prior to the collapse, firefighters can be heard on scanner traffic recordings discussing rescuing animals.
