Neighbors said last May that they feared for their lives because of how frequently gunfire was taking place at or near Cordero’s home. Police were called there 37 times in 29 days last spring, police records showed.
Cordero, who is a rapper, said that he was having a lot of parties, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and that gunfire was taking place frequently, saying he believed it was because of jealousy.
