NAMED: Three hoons face Bundy court

You hear them before you see them and this week, three hoons caught in the Bundaberg area faced up to their actions. They each faced Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Thursday where they were each charged in relation to three separate hooning incidents. Marcus Aaron Mallyon - Hooning location: Duffy St and River Terrace, Millbank Marcus Aaron Mallyon pleaded guilty to one count of wilfully making unnecessary noise or smoke. The court heard resident near Duffy St and River Terrace in Millbank heard and saw a grey commodore being driven in a matter which caused noise and smoke at 7am on November 23 last year.

Police discover offending in aftermath of mate s fatal crash

It started as a motorbike ride with a mate but for one Bundaberg rider it would end with his friend mortally wounded and police laying a string of charges against him. When police attended the scene of the crash that killed Beau Roberts they discovered his mate and riding partner Wylie Ethan Moon had committed offences which would land him in court. Moon pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Thursday to driving while disqualified by a court order, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and driving with paper number plates. The court heard Moon was riding a motorbike with Beau Roberts at Alloway on November 2, before Roberts suffered fatal injuries in a crash with another vehicle.

Five in court following police drug raids

Jason Ronald Devine, Tom Jackson Willis, Peter William Howard, Luke Roydon Hawkshaw, and Richard Allan Martin all faced Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday facing a number of drug related charges. Man given good behaviour bond after violent street fight

Falealea Fia pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Thursday one count of assault occasioning bodily harm. The court heard the victim was walking home from a Childers hotel just after midnight on September 6. The victim and Fia were both involved in a fight in the middle of the street. Fia continued assaulting the victim when he was on the ground and couldn t defend himself. The victim sustained injuries including a broken nose and a chipped tooth. Police prosecutor Sergeant Dean Burgess told the court Fia had no criminal history to tender. Fia s barrister Craig Ryan told the court his client was a Tongan national who had been in Australia on a migrant farm work visa program.
