New Delhi [India], August 10 (ANI): Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh would meet Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday in the national capital. Singh is likely to discuss the state's Cabinet expansion and reshuffle of ministers with the Congress chief ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections.
"As you are aware, in view of my decision to take a temporary break from active role in public life, I have not been able to take over the responsibilities as your Principal Advisor. Since I am yet to decide on my future course of action, I write to request you to kindly relieve me from this responsibility," Kishor said in a letter to the Chief Minister.
Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], June 13 (ANI): Ridiculing Delhi Deputy Chief Minister's (CM) allegation of a political conspiracy of the Centre and the Punjab government in the matter of school education ranking, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday termed it as a clear case of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) crying foul in the face of its imminent wipe out from the state in the 2022 Assembly polls.

JALANDHAR: Even as Congress high command is yet to decide on Punjab factionalism, CM Amarinder Singh’s Facebook ‘Punjab Da Captain’ is going ahead with ‘Captain for 2022’ campaign with more clarity.
An unannounced campaign has also been started, in which Congress leaders, especially those who got appointments in government offices or other local leaders, have started sharing posters projecting Amarinder as 2022 CM face on their social media platforms. While some Congress leaders are putting up hoardings of ‘Captain for 2022’ at some places, more are joining and the latest slogan is ‘There is only Captain’.
