ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said Wednesday that a new system is being created in the health sector with the Health Facility Card and noted the current programme will promote private sector hospitals and help them provide their services in rural and remote areas.
The prime minister directed the federal and provincial governments and the State Life to set up special units for the Health Card Programme to monitor the implementation of the programme and resolve any issues immediately. In this connection, a review meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on the government s historic initiative in the health sector to provide quality health services to the people through the Health Facility Card. ‘Only willing female teachers to get jabs’
Raas says instances of being forced to get jabs should be reported to authorities

Punjab School Education Minister Sardar Murad Raas has said that all female government and private schoolteachers of Punjab can get vaccinated against Covid as per choice.
He said teachers should report to their district authority any instance of someone forcing them to get vaccinated.
The minister also said that strict action will be taken against anyone who will force female teachers for vaccination.
According to sources, Education Minister Raas backed the young female teachers having reservations in connection with the vaccination.

ISLAMABAD: The corona positivity ratio in the Punjab has come down by a large margin, according to a report released by the Punjab Health Department on Sunday.
The positivity rate has come down to 3.13% in Punjab overall, whereas, in Lahore, the rate has reduced to 2.42%, reports Geo News.
In the 24 hours, 29,121 coronavirus tests were conducted in Lahore out of which 914 tested positive.
As per the report, about 55 patients are undergoing treatment in the extensive care units of various hospitals throughout the province.
At least 29 people have lost their lives to the virus over the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid held a press conference on the current coronavirus situation of the province.
