Pune: CoWIN app problems delayed second Covid vaccine dose in Pune Municipal Corporation limits. The civic body was supposed to begin providing the second dose for those who had got their first dose on January 16. The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is all set to begin the procedure from next week. Health officials from the civic body had directed Bharati Hospital to begin providing second doses from February 13.

Pune: The PMC vaccination centres would provide second jab of Covid vaccines from today. Those in PCMC limits and rural regions will start the procedure next week.
1,805 healthcare staff in the city had got the first dose of the vaccine on January 16, the day the vaccination was started in India. A total of 441 healthcare workers who took the first shot at eight vaccination sites in the PMC regions on January 16 are now being directed to reach out to the same vaccination centres for the second dose from today.

Pune: 418 fresh Covid cases were recorded yesterday, taking the total to 3, 88,717. Two patients died of Covid. The death toll in the Pune district is at 9,094.
597 people have recovered. Till now, 3, 75,157 have been discharged. Dr Bhagwan Pawar, Pune district health officer said that among the fresh cases, 180 are in PMC limits, 106 in Pimpri-Chinchwad, around 100 in Pune rural, and 37 in cantonment limits.
The active cases have fallen to 1,407 of which 112 are serious. There are 212 patients on oxygen support.
