KOHAT: Relatives killed two brothers over a land dispute in Togh Bala area on the Rawalpindi Road here on Wednesday.
Naseem Gul, Naeem Gul and Saqib Naseem had a brawl with the deceased brothers after they unsuccessfully tried to stop them from working in the disputed fields. The accused opened fire, killing Ibrarul Hassan and Mehmoodul Hassan on the spot.
The Riaz Mohammad Shaheed police registered the case on the complaint of the widow of Ibralul Hassan against the three accused, and arrested one of them, Naeem Gul, and recovered two Kalashnikovs from him.
The police handed over the bodies to relatives after autopsy at the KDA Teaching Hospital.

Two brothers were shot dead over a property conflict near the Pindi Road in Kohat s Togh Bala Wednesday night, the police said.
Abrarul Hassan and Mahmoodul Hassan were working with their relatives at a field when an argument broke out between both the groups. During the disagreement, the suspects opened fire at the brothers.
According to the police, two perpetrators managed to escape from the crime scene while one was arrested. The police have seized two Kalashnikovs from him and have taken him into custody.
Fleeing robber dies after gun goes off accidentally

A suspected robber died after his pistol went off when he along with his companions was trying to flee after snatching cash from a citizen in the Haroonabad area on Wednesday.
The SITE B police said the suspected robberâs companions escaped on the motorcycle, leaving him behind, after he was injured by with own gun. The suspects had deprived a citizen, Ali Hassan, of Rs300,000 in the Ghani Chowrangi area. Responding to information, police reached the crime scene and found Rs300,000, a pistol and a cell phone on the injured robber. They took him to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
