Australasian production company Larchmont is delighted to welcome comedy writer and director Gary McCreadie to its tightly held roster.
Auckland based McCreadie established his career as an agency creative with roles at Bartle Bogle Hegarty in London and TBWA\Sydney where he led iconic campaigns for The Guardian, Axe, Tango and Foxtel, before transitioning into directing in early 2019.
Says Ngaio McCreadie, managing partner, Larchmont: “I think there is a real opportunity to bring fresh blood into the comedy space in this part of the world. Gaz has been obsessed with film for as long as I’ve known him and has a unique take on everything he does. I think his breadth of experience will offer great value to agencies and brands alike… But of course, I would say that!”
Australasian production company Larchmont has bolstered its directorial roster with critically acclaimed director Nacho Gayán.
Recognised globally as one of Spain’s most significant commercial directors, Gayán commands an iconic body of international work. His films for brands including the Red Cross, Fox, Nike, Coca-Cola, Polaroid and San Miguel demonstrate a strong aptitude for drawing sensitive performances told with real humanity, set against captivating visuals.
Larchmont has taken a purposeful approach to extending it’s roster, with the intention of representing a select group of local and international talent who hold a strong desire to work on the very best creative coming out of this region.
3AA Playoffs: No. 6 Mount Tabor wears down No. 1 Weddington

In a battle of unbeatens, Mount Tabor s football team earned an impressive 21-10 win at home over Weddington in the second round of the NCHSAA 3AA Playoffs on Friday.
The Spartans (9-0, 5-0 Piedmont Triad 3A) No. 6 in the West in the HighSchoolOT rankings were able to use a steady ground-and-pound approach to wear down the Warriors (7-1, 6-0 Southern Carolina 3A) who took the top spot in the West after the final week of the regular season.
were led offensively by senior running back B.J. McIntyre, who had 17 carries for a game-high 146 yards (8.6 yards per carry), including a 55-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to make it a two-score game and help seal the victory.

Twins Mia and Alyvia O’Brien did their bit to help Caribeae be crowned champion club at the CQ Swimming Championships at the weekend.
Mia was age champion in the eight years girls and Alyvia was runner-up.

A second set of siblings shone for the club, with Zachary and Levi Thomsen age champions in their respective divisions.
Caribeae won the Martin Hanson Trophy for the club with the highest overall points, with Rocky City second and Gladstone third.
Caribeae also won the McDonald’s Club Points Average Award for clubs with 21 swimmers or more.
Moranbah won the point average for clubs with four to 10 swimmers, Biloela for clubs with 11 to 20 swimmers.
