The Mount Tabor Spartans are the 3AA football state champions after 24-16 win over the Cleveland Rams in Chapel Hill on Thursday night. The Spartans got the scoring started in the first quarter when Tyress McIntyre connected on a deep ball with Lance Patterson for a 70-yard touchdown pass to claim an early 7-0 lead.
