Troopers said the crash happened at 3:45 p.m. when an RV pulling a car trailer hit a 40-year-old man on Linda Lane. [TRENDING: ] Investigators said the man was unknowingly dragged by the trailer until the driver of the RV pulled into a parking lot in the area of Nova Road and LPGA Boulevard.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore moves to Port Orange from Daytona

PORT ORANGE  Hoping to reach more customers, Habitat for Humanity ReStore   relocated this week to a much bigger space at one of this city s busiest intersections.   Habitat for Humanity of Greater Volusia County operated its resale store on Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach for more than 20 years. The new location in Port Orange is at the corner of Dunlawton Boulevard and Nova Road. The address is 3813 South Nova Road, Unit #103. Port Orange is part of our service area,” said Lori M. Gillooly, CEO for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Volusia County. “We serve ten cities within Volusia County.” Operating hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monies earned from the ReStore go toward the organization s mission to help provide affordable housing in the area. All items sold at the store are donated.
