In a statement issued by Uganda National Roads Authority (Unra) on Tuesday, activities for the construction will start from Dewinton Road junction on Yusuf Lule Road.
Unra said the activities include drilling, design reviews, geotechnical studies and general preparation.
“…we expect minimal interruption in traffic flow during this exercise but traffic police will be on site for any needed traffic management. We appeal to all roadusers [pedestrians and vehicle operators] to exercise maximum caution and follow traffic guidelines around this area,” the statement read.
EAST WENATCHEE â A 37-year-old man is suspected of selling drugs from his East Wenatchee home.
Earlier this month, East Wenatchee police officers were given information that Casey Lee Nations was dealing heroin from his home and on Dec. 18 served a search warrant at his home on Nile Avenue, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Douglas County Superior Court.
Inside the home, police say they found multiple items with suspected heroin residue, a gram of suspected methamphetamine, and materials they suspect are used in the packaging and selling of drugs, the affidavit said.
Investigators also found items they believe stolen, including a 2006 Suzuki GSX R1000 motorcycle and credit cards.

It will cost an additional $1.7 million to situate the Nile Garden School campus in the most effective way to absorb growth in South Manteca.
The Manteca Unified school board Tuesday authorized spending $130,000 on architectural services needed to expand the existing parking lot off of Nile Avenue and extend the drop-off lane.
The project includes relocating three portable classrooms, demolishing the existing parking lot and expanding the parking area to the western boundary of the campus. It covers a multitude of items such as new sidewalk, landscaping, French drains, and more that brings the project cost to $1.7 million.
