It wasn’t the prettiest weather or game for Oregon Softball as they hung on for a 7-4 victory on Saturday afternoon in sluggish weather conditions. The win give the Ducks their 30th win of the season.
Stanford got out ahead early scoring 3 runs in their first 3 trips to the plate. The lead didn’t last long as in the bottom half of the 3rd inning, Oregon exploded for 6 runs to claim the lead and never looked back. The inning was highlighted by a 2RBI single by Rachel Cid and a 2RBI Double by Allee Bunker.

Jane Sanders Stadium was filled with fans for the first time this season as Duck fans witnessed the #3 Oregon Ducks upset the #2 UCLA Bruins 3-0 Friday night. With the win on Friday, Oregon hands UCLA their second loss of the season, both of which have come at the hands of the Ducks.
The game was a pitching dual as both teams threw their aces in Brooke Yanez for the Ducks and Megan Faraimo for the Bruins. The two pitchers entered the game with less than a 1.50 ERA and 10 wins each.
The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the 4th inning when Allee Bunker blasted a 2 run home run to left breaking the deadlock at 2-0. The Ducks offense stayed hot in the next inning as Haley Cruse ripped a double to right center field driving in Deijah Pangilinan to extend the Ducks lead to 3-0.
