Naples police probe mischief at community dock

They removed fire extinguishers and sprayed them around and opened dock storage container boxes within the gazebo, police said. One of the young people sprayed the fire extinguisher inside of one of the storage boxes.   The property manager for the community told investigators that three extinguishers were missing after the incident, according to Naples PD.   Marilynn Katatsky, a resident of Mangrove Bay for about two years, said she found the incident upsetting.    It s just shocking that well-to-do kids have nothing better to do then jump on Dad s boat and go vandalize somebody s property,” Katatsky said.

Fernanda Sanchez, a tourist from Mexico, was biking near the intersection of US-41 and Morningside Drive when a vehicle struck her. The crash happened during the afternoon of Dec. 7 while she vacationing in the area with her friends during the Christmas break. “I thought he was going to stop, that he was going to be the one to help me,” said Sanchez, 27, said.

Naples officer Sgt Jeffrey Reidy killed in crash; GoFundMe account created

Naples Daily News A GoFundMe account has been started to support the family of a Naples police officer, who was killed in a car crash Thursday, raising thousands of dollars within hours.   Naples Police Sgt. Jeffrey Reidy, a father of four, died in an off-duty crash in Lee County. He was 41 and most recently assigned to the department s patrol division, according to the Naples Police Department.   The GoFundMe account was created by Buddy Bonollo, a coworker and friend, to support Reidy s family in whatever way they need.   Reidy leaves a wife, Jennifer, and four children: Gavin, Rylin, Emma and Charlie, according to the GoFundMe page.   They live in Estero.
