They removed fire extinguishers and sprayed them around and opened dock storage container boxes within the gazebo, police said. One of the young people sprayed the fire extinguisher inside of one of the storage boxes.
The property manager for the community told investigators that three extinguishers were missing after the incident, according to Naples PD.
Marilynn Katatsky, a resident of Mangrove Bay for about two years, said she found the incident upsetting. It s just shocking that well-to-do kids have nothing better to do then jump on Dad s boat and go vandalize somebody s property,” Katatsky said.
