Leaders with Sanford Vermillion said it s been a long year for their staff.
Rachel Olson, the director of clinic operations at Sanford Vermillion said throughout the pandemic they started cross-training, ramped up testing capacity, and now are shifting to vaccines.
She added while people get vaccinated and with the new CDC guidelines, she knows people are excited to see their family again.
Olson said her thoughts go out to the patients and staff that have had to endure the past year… but things are looking a lot different from a year ago today. I think our staff feels safe. Especially now that we ve started immunizations. Things are kind of calming down a little bit. We re really ready to get back to kind of that normal. Things are kind of routine as far as everybody kind of has their roles and we feel great about being cross-trained and ready to help out, said Olson.
