15-year-old arrested for shooting death of 14-year-old in New Orleans
An arrest warrant was obtained for the juvenile on a charge of second-degree murder. He also had an active arrest warrant out of the Seventh District.

NEW ORLEANS New Orleans police arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly shooting and killing a 14-year-old last month.
NOPD said on April 19, at around 7:35 p.m., officers were called to the corner of Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street where they found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. The 14-year-old was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries the next day.
Police say a feud going back at least two weeks led to the shooting.

KENNER, La. A feud between two families led to a shootout that started at a Dollar General on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, according to police.
Kenner Police were called out the Dollar General on Veterans near Loyola Drive around 5:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting in the parking lot.
Soon after, police were called out to a shooting two blocks away on Fayette Street where they found and armed man and an armed woman standing in the street.

NEW ORLEANS Firefighters say a man received burns to 50 percent of his body after a car he was cutting for scrap ignited on Monday morning in New Orleans.
The New Orleans Fire Department said several 911 calls reported a car fire and a man rolling on the ground in the 2300 block of Forstall Street around 10:39 a.m.

MEMPHIS, Tenn Memphis Police are investigating after they said a pedestrian was hit by a train and killed Monday morning.
It happened about 7:30 a.m. at Castalia and Lowell in Castalia Heights. Investigators said the pedestrian, who has not been identified, was struck by a train. The victim died at the scene.
Further details have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
