A feud between two families led to a shootout that started at a Dollar General on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, according to police. Kenner Police were called out the Dollar General on Veterans near Loyola Drive around 5:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting in the parking lot. Soon after, police were called out to a shooting two blocks away on Fayette Street where they found and armed man and an armed woman standing in the street.

(WMBF) – Police have taken a second suspect into custody in connection with a January shooting involving three juveniles. Online records from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center state 19-year-old Zoe Kefalas, of Myrtle Beach, was booked April 1 on three counts of attempted murder. She was released the same day on a $30,000 charge. Officials with the Horry County Police Department previously said officers responded to the area of Loyola Drive just before midnight on Jan. 29 for a report of a shooting. Police said they found a victim at the scene, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gregorio Gaytan, man wanted for allegedly killing mother-in-law, was found dead by SWAT team in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) The man wanted for allegedly shooting his mother-in-law to death Thursday night in Cypress was located Saturday evening in Sugar Land. Harris County Sheriff s SWAT team found 32-year-old Gregorio Gaytan behind a strip center near Highway 6 and Settlers Boulevard around 5 p.m. A single gunshot was heard as SWAT team members held a secure perimeter around Gaytan. Moments later, he was found dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Gregorio Gaytan, wanted in Thursday night’s slaying of a woman on Loyola Dr in Cypress, has been located in the Sugarland area. He was found behind a strip center located near Hwy 6 & Settlers Way.
