It took two years to design plans for the “little model Holy Roller”. A symbol of peace-building efforts, the little ride-on train is battery-powered and plays songs as passengers travel the “tracks of peace”. The idea is to put a smile on young faces and the next generation, so they can dream of a better world and good things to come. At a ceremony last week, the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand honoured the people of Christchurch with a bravery award for their response to the mosque attacks, presenting a gold medal award to Christchurch mayor Lianne Dalziel. Once parked they engaged in sexual activity. Afterwards Yesuf bought alcohol for her and her friends. Yesuf was remanded on continued bail until October for sentencing.
Stuff has previously reported on Yesuf’s continued health struggles after being shot in the back at the An-Nur (Al Noor) mosque on March 15, 2019.
