Joining me are Ron Nersesian, Keysight s chairman, president, and CEO; and Neil Dougherty, our CFO. In the race for controller an office that oversees the county s finances Van Blunk, an attorney, and former county commissioner Warren vied for the nomination to challenge incumbent Democrat Neale Dougherty, who was unopposed in his primary.
The Bucks County Republican Committee recommended Van Blunk for controller. Warren had the backing of the conservative group Right for Bucks. The citizens of Bucks County deserve transparency and accountability from our county government, and the non-partisan allegations made in the Coroner’s lawsuit suggest that we currently have neither, Van Blunk said in a statement. As our next controller, I will fight to improve transparency, expose fraud, and protect taxpayer dollars.

The ballot will also include questions on proposed constitutional amendments. Four questions are on the ballot, and two of them relate to the governor s powers. A yes vote from the public would take these powers away. You can learn more here.
In Bucks County, incumbent Sheriff Milt Warrell, a Democrat, faces a worthy primary challenger in Mark Lomax, who has the backing of the Bucks County Democratic Committee. Fred Harran is the only Republican running for the position.
In the race for county controller, candidates Andrew Warren, a former Bucks County commissioner, and Pamela Van Blunk, a local attorney, are both seeking the Republican nomination. The winner will take on Democratic incumbent Neale Dougherty in the November general election.
