ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - State health officials report 1,191 new cases of COVID-19. The total accumulative number of cases in Minnesota since the pandemic began is 588,952. Of those total cases, 41,920 are health care workers.
There have been no additional deaths tied to COVID-19. The statewide death toll is 7,231. Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities are 4,378.
There are 570,036 people who are no longer isolated.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - The latest data from the Minnesota Department of Health shows 60 percent of Minnesotans have at least one dose of the vaccine. 87 percent of Minnesotans 65 and older have received at least one dose.
In Brown County, 61 percent have at least one dose. In Blue Earth County, 55 percent have at least one dose. In Watanwan County, 53 percent have at least one dose. In Faribault County, 51 percent have at least one dose.

NEW ULM A 39-year-old New Ulm woman faces three felony charges including receiving more than $5,000 worth of stolen property stemming from a March stolen vehicle and stolen property case in New Ulm and Blue Earth County.
Two counts of felony possession of ammunition or firearm, liable for crimes of another and one count of felony receiving more than $5,000 worth of stolen property, were filed against Thea M. Spillane, 322 State St. N., in Brown County District Court May 3. A first appearance was set for 8:30 a.m., June 1.
According to court documents, the Blue Earth County Sheriff contacted New Ulm Police March 8, regarding a stolen vehicle and stolen property located at 322 State St. N.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Mankato Police have arrested a 51-year-old woman following an incident that ended with the alleged assault of an officer.
Authorities say Raquel Navarro was under the influence of drugs or alcohol in public and was taken to the hospital. She was then transported to the Blue Earth County Jail where authorities say the situation escalated.
“When she went to the jail, it looks like they must have assaulted officers and jail staff. It looks like she is being charged with fourth-degree assault, obstruction with force, fleeing police on foot, trespassing, and crimes against the railroad,” says Dan Schisel, Associate Director of Mankato Public Safety.
