It is an aspect of their sense of superiority that the white people of America believe they have so little to learn.” (There are and always have been some white people that stand to make a difference). When the Chauvin verdict came down a new lesson was taught. It is time for justice to ring down for all citizens to be treated equally under the law. Although a guilty verdict will not bring back George Floyd, it does bring hope for the future for other Black men and women to be treated as human beings rather than like animals. Chauvin must be punished to the full extent of the law to ensure that true justice is served. Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris said, “
Drew Arrieta’s Family Album
Drew Arrieta, a photojournalist based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, described the tense moments he spent waiting to hear how the jury would rule on Derek Chauvin as “the most nervous hour ever.” Over the past year Arrieta, who is thirty-one, has spent considerable time at Black Lives Matter protests and related events on water protection, immigration rights, gun violence, and police reform and abolition. In that time, he has cultivated relationships with the organizers he documents and has shared in a commitment to keeping fellow community members safe. As a result, his photographs tightly framed shots of Black women embracing, a curb cluttered with half gallons of milk and Gatorade are stunningly intimate, as if from a family photo album. The images offer a careful, meditative depiction of his neighbors, what happened to them, and what they are doing about it.

A Hammond man is getting into some trouble for explicit and politically charged flags in his yard, which sits just across the street from a public park.
HAMMOND, Ind. - A Hammond man is getting into some trouble for explicit and politically charged flags in his yard, which sits just across the street from a public park.
The man who lives in the blue house across from the baseball field in Hammond says he’s a strong supporter of President Donald Trump and he’s being persecuted for his politics.

ReidOut as Reid argued Ma’Khia Bryant was an innocent young girl who had cute TikTok videos and didn’t deserve to be killed by a violent Columbus, Ohio officer because knife fights happen all the time and people survive them.
And despite the fact that there’s multiple body camera angles of Tuesday’s incident, Reid insisted nothing police put out or say should be trusted because it all could turn out to be a lie (which would ostensibly include the video).
