For a hike and ended up dangerously close to a wildfire. My community in colorado was impacted by smoke for months. I am worried about our kids future, and im increasingly frustrated by gridlock on the issue of climate change. How will we meet the urgent time line for a transition to clean energy while also creating a more equitable world . Thats an excellent question. And the way we do it is we engage more moms. We have to engage more of our mothers, our fathers, the Everyday Americans who are facing the challenges that she just raised. At epa were more than just a regulatory arm. We also have education outreach and engagement. And were trying to mobilize not just mothers and fathers but all of the young people in this country who are demanding that we move expeditiously as we attack this climate crisis.
