Pimpri-Chinchwad police has arrested three doctors with regards to a cheating and forgery case at the Pimpri-Chinchwad branch of the
Nagar Urban Cooperative Bank of Ahmednagar. An
FIR was lodged recently in connection with the fraud committed between March 2018 and January 2021 that has a case against 24 people, including former
BJP MP Dilip Gandhi and bank officials, for misappropriating Rs 22 crores.

Antapurkar, the Congress MLA from Degloor in Maharashtra s Nanded district, was initially undergoing treatment at a hospital in his constituency. He was later shifted to a Mumbai hospital when his health deteriorated. He died due to Covid-19 complications on Friday night.
Antapurkar is the second MLA from Maharashtra to have died of Covid-19.

New Delhi: BJP leader and former Union minister Dilip Gandhi died at a hospital in New Delhi on Wednesday, family sources said.
He was 69.
Gandhi had served as the Minister of State for Shipping in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led central government.
He recently tested positive for coronavirus and was undergoing treatment for multiple ailments, the sources said.
The BJP leader, who started his career as a corporator in the late 80s, had won the Lok Sabha elections three times since 1999 from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.

New Delhi, March 17 : Former Union Minister and BJP leader Dilip Gandhi, who had tested positive for Covid-19, passed away at a private hospital in Delhi on Wednesday during treatment. He was 70.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the demise of Gandhi, saying the leader will be remembered from his rich contributions to community service. Saddened by the demise of former MP and Minister Shri Dilip Gandhi Ji. He will be remembered for his rich contributions to community service and helping the poor. He made numerous efforts to strengthen the BJP in Maharashtra. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti, the Prime Minister tweeted.
