Steam Packet first asked for Covid vaccines in December PAC told request actioned in February
A Tynwald committee has heard how the Steam Packet Company first asked for its crew to be vaccinated in December last year.
Staff were moved up the priority list in February after it was revealed Manx-based crew weren t following isolation requirements.
Yesterday Chief Minister Howard Quayle told the Public Accounts Committee he didn t know why the request hadn t been picked up sooner:

Following cancellation of the IOM Classic TT and MGP, the IOM Steam Packet confirms customers booked to travel from 21st Aug – 4th Sept inclusive will be contacted and offered the chance to transfer their booking to next year’s event or receive a refund.
