The University held five Final Exercises ceremonies over three joyful days, celebrating graduates after one of the most unusual, difficult years in UVA’s history.
Three new partners at Juris Corp (Sinha, Kanvinde, Sharma, l. to r.)
Juris Corp has promoted three to partner, and two each to counsel, principal associate and senior associate respectively.
The new partners are:
Apurva Kanvinde, securities, Mumbai (who had joined the firm in 2013),
Saurabh Sharma, banking and finance, Mumbai (who has also begun his career at the firm).
Two principal associates were promoted to counsel:
Dhruv Malik, dispute resolution and arbitration, New Delhi, and
Sumitava Basu, financial restructuring and stressed assets acquisitions, Mumbai.

IIM Ahmedabad has appointed Professor Ram Mohan, the CAT 2021 Exam Convener.
IIM-A had last conducted the CAT in 2015. The premier B-school has a penchant for a typical academic approaches. Test takers can brace themselves for a different test pattern
What did IIM-A change in CAT?
When IIM Ahmedabad conducted CAT 2015 with Prof Tathagat Bandyopadhyay as the convenor, the institute had introduced changes in the set test pattern. The institute had:
compressed the testing window to one day
introduced Non-MCQ or TITA (Type In The Answer) questions that did not penalize the candidate with negative marks. (MCQs or Multiple Choice Questions award negative marks to the candidate for incorrect attempts.)
