A two-member bench of the Sindh High Court, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Amjad Ali Sahito, disposed of on Tuesday a contempt of court plea pertaining to closure of roads during Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in the city, while directing the police to increase police personnel in the roads during traffic jams and control street crime.
Sindh AIG Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional Home Secretary and Traffic Police officials appeared in the court. Assistant advocate general informed the court that the accused involved in the murder of citizen, Usama, have been arrested.

The Sindh High Court rejected on Monday the plea challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan’s approval of Pakistan Peoples Party candidate, Palwasha Zai Khan’s nomination papers for the upcoming Senate polls.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Amjad Ali Sahito, was hearing the plea.
Advocate Farooq H Naek appeared before the court on Khan’s behalf. The petitioner against Khan’s nomination papers, advocate Aqib Rajper, gave arguments before the court.

The East district traffic SP informed the Sindh High Court on Friday that roads are open for traffic as far as he knew.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Amjad Ali Sahito, was hearing a contempt plea alleging that the two main thoroughfares near the National Stadium Karachi have been blocked during the ongoing Pakistan Super League VI matches in violation of the court’s February 17 order.
Phase II of Green Line Bus project slated for completion by March, states Centre s report

The Sindh High Court was informed on Wednesday that Phase II of the Green Line Bus Project would be completed by March 2021 and 80 new buses are to arrive in the metropolis soon.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Amjad Ali Sahito, was hearing a plea pertaining to absence of mass transit facilities in the city.
The federal government submitted a report stating that Phase I of the Green Line Bus project, comprising a 24 kilometre-long track, has been completed while Phase II of the project is expected to see completion by March 2021. The report mentioned that 80 buses are to arrive in Karachi soon and all tenders have been issued.
