Anthony Albanese and Chris Bowen are dragging Labor away from workers

Federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese and Shadow Energy Minister Chris Bowen are “dragging Labor away” from the workers they “used to represent,” according to Energy Minister Angus Taylor. During Question Time on Tuesday, Mr Taylor touted the Morrison Government’s investments and action to deliver affordable, reliable energy to Australians. He cited decreasing wholesale prices as evidence the government’s energy plan is working, but noted there needs to be continued “downward” pressure on those prices. “That means, more supply into the marketplace, particularly as we lose coal-fired generators”. According to Mr Taylor, the alternative to the Morrison Government’s energy plan is “the leader of the opposition and the member for McMahon”. “The two of them are dragging Labor away from the workers they used to represent,” he said.
