According to recent research into pandemic drinking habits by Alcohol Change UK, one in five people are drinking more during lockdown. Happily, I am not one of them. In fact, I don’t drink alcohol at all because three years ago, after noticing the negative toll that drinking and subsequent hangovers was having on my mental health, I made the decision to go teetotal, at the age of 26.
