Delhi Police busted oxygen concentrators black-marketing racket and recovered 105 concentrators from two upscale restaurants in the Khan Market area on Friday. The two restaurants namely Khan Chacha and Town Hall are owned by Navneet Kalra, who is on run, said police, adding that the manager and three staffers have been arrested. With the further seizure of 105 oxygen concentrators from two upscale restaurants in Khan Market namely Khan Chacha and Town Hall, a total of 524 oxygen concentrators were seized from blackmarketers. Through a survey, the Centre has claimed that Delhi is getting an excess supply of oxygen, and that it is using it "inefficiently" and "possibly diverting the supply to black market".

The probe of recovery of over 500 oxygen concentrators from famous Delhi restaurants has been handed over to the crime branch.
This development comes a day after the Delhi Police arrested another person identified as Gourav Khanna, CEO of Matrix Cellular Services Ltd in connection with its probe into the seizure of over 500 oxygen concentrators in the last two days from popular restaurants in the national capital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Delhi Atul Kumar Thakur said that Khanna, a resident of Haryana s Gurugram was arrested on Friday (7 May) night.
