Oxygen Concentrator Hoarding: Enforcement Directorate Registers Money Laundering Case Against Businessman Navneet Kalra

A Delhi Court had remanded businessman Navneet Kalra to three-day police custody. New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate (ED) registered a money laundering case against businessman Navneet Kalra, accused in a case relating to the alleged hoarding of oxygen concentrators in South Delhi restaurants. The Enforcement Directorate, in a statement, said it has registered an enforcement case information report (ECIR) on the basis of the First Information Report (FIR) registered by Delhi Police against Navneet Kalra. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police seized two cell phones from Navneet Kalra in connection with the oxygen concentrators hoarding case. The police said the phones have been sent to the forensic science laboratory for further examination.

Delhi HC to pass final order in oxygen concentrators black marketing case on May 20 ANI | Updated: May 17, 2021 22:39 IST New Delhi [India], May 17 (ANI): Delhi High Court is likely to pass the final order in the oxygen concentrators black marketing case on May 20, informed the Delhi Police on Monday. Today the matter of M/s Matrix Cellular (International) Services Limited v/s State (NCT of Delhi) came up through Video conferencing before the Delhi High Court in respect of their prayer for the release of the oxygen concentrators seized in the present case and regarding no coercive action to be taken by police against their staff among other prayers. Delhi Police contested their petition, reads the Delhi Police statement.

ANI | Updated: May 10, 2021 10:36 IST New Delhi [India], May 10 (ANI): A lookout notice has been issued against businessman Navneet Kalra, an accused in the alleged black marketing of oxygen concentrators in the national capital, Delhi Police sources informed on Monday. On May 7, the police busted oxygen concentrators black-marketing racket during a raid and recovered 105 concentrators from two upscale restaurants in the Khan Market. The two restaurants namely Khan Chacha and Town Hall are owned by Navneet Kalra, who is allegedly on run, while the manager and three staffers has been arrested so far, the police said. With the further seizure of 105 oxygen concentrators from two upscale restaurants in Khan Market namely Khan Chacha and Town Hall, a total of 524 oxygen concentrators were seized from blackmarketers.
