Charles Nicholas Fratianni, a good man, a loving, loyal husband, a beloved father and grandfather, and a kind and caring friend, sadly and unexpectedly died on December 29, 2020.
He was born in Amsterdam on March 31, 1951, a son of Charles and Amy Burtt Fratianni and was a lifelong area resident.
Merely by chance, in October 1972, at the Cobleskill college music department, good fortune brought Chuck into Cindy’s life. She thought he was smoking hot and as luck would have it, he was the bass guitarist/lead singer in a rock and roll band. It was “love at first sight” and on a beautiful summer day on July 14, 1973, Chuck and Cindy were married.

Eva Pianelli passed away peacefully December 22, 2020, with her family at the bedside. The middle daughter of Bernard and Ilah Rayder, she grew up on a farm in Stony Creek, New York. While attending nursing school in Gloversville, she fell in love with Vincenzo “Jim” Pianelli and embarked on a 65 year marriage of mutual adoration. They raised their family on Third Avenue in Gloversville during a time of great promise and opportunity.
Eva was universally loved and respected. She was one of the kindest and good-natured people one would ever encounter. Never a harsh word toward others, she maintained the highest standards in everything she set out to do. A gifted homemaker, she enjoyed reading, cooking and spending quiet time with family and Mountainview Avenue neighbors and friends.
