Local residents, Hani and Ashley Alikhan, brought home a little celebrity – a New Year’s Baby. Baby Ellie Rae Alikhan, was born January 1 at 11:54 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces. Mother Ashley Alikhan, and Father Hani Alikhan, were very excited to bring baby Ellie into this world. “We are in absolute awe,” mom said in a news release. As mom held Baby Ellie, dad said, “We are very happy and grateful to the staff at Littauer. It’s an exciting way to celebrate the New Year this way.” As tradition, Nathan Littauer’s Auxiliary donated more than 300 dollars in special gifts for little Ellie and her parents.
