A 17-year-old boy from Natick was killed in a motor vehicle crash on I-93 in Canton late Saturday night, and a fundraiser has been created to help his family.
While state police didn’t identify the victim in a press release, the online fundraiser and 7News have identified him as Giovanni “Gio” Taboh, a junior at Natick High School.
Taboh was a passenger in the backseat of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler when the driver, another 17-year-old boy, reportedly “attempted to cross multiple lanes” to take Exit 2B southbound. The Jeep the collided with a 2011 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 28-year-old Boston woman, state police said.
