CANTON, MA A 17-year-old boy was killed in a rollover crash in Canton Saturday night, said Massachusetts State Police in a news release. Preliminary investigation indicates that while traveling southbound on Route 93, the Jeep s driver, while in close proximity to Exit 2B, attempted to cross multiple lanes to take the exit, said state police in a news release. The Jeep struck the Toyota on the ramp. The impact pushed the Toyota into the wood line and caused the Jeep to roll over across the ramp and into the adjacent infield.

A 17-year-old boy from Natick was killed in a motor vehicle crash on I-93 in Canton late Saturday night, and a fundraiser has been created to help his family.
While state police didn’t identify the victim in a press release, the online fundraiser and 7News have identified him as Giovanni “Gio” Taboh, a junior at Natick High School.
Taboh was a passenger in the backseat of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler when the driver, another 17-year-old boy, reportedly “attempted to cross multiple lanes” to take Exit 2B southbound. The Jeep the collided with a 2011 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 28-year-old Boston woman, state police said.
