KENNEBUNKPORT – Harald Woolverton Ingholt, 90, of Kennebunkport, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at home.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hamilton Ingholt of Kennebunkport; daughter, Nancy Evans (Steve) of Ashland, Neb. and son, Paul Ingholt (Dana) of Vienna, Va.; his elder sister, Mary Elizabeth Underdown.
Harald was a decorated U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and retired in 1982 with the rank of colonel. Following his Air Force retirement, he led international sales for Loral/Goodyear Aerospace, in Phoenix, Ariz., retiring completely in 1994. He moved to Kennebunkport in 2018.

Joe was a loving husband to wife Margaret, nee Kling, for 62 years; a father to Kathleen, Martin and Suzanne; and a doting grandfather / great-grandfather of 13.
Born to John and Helen in Youngstown, Joe had two brothers: twin, Jack and younger brother, Tom.
He graduated from Ursuline High School and Youngstown (State) University. Joe began his engineering career with Goodyear Aerospace. In 1963, Joe was recruited by the NASA space program, where he worked until retiring in 1995. His notable achievements included working as a project engineer on the Viking mission to Mars (1975), earning an MBA (1984), winning the prestigious Collier Trophy (1987), and receiving the rank of Meritorious Executive from President Reagan (1988).
