They belonged to Civil Township, Balughat, Panposh, Chhend Colony and Naya Bazar of Rourkela besides Khatkurbahal of Kutra block.

ROURKELA: Body count is spiking in Sundargarh which is one of the epicenters of the second wave of Covid in Odisha. As many as 14 Covid patients, who succumbed in the last three days, were cremated and buried on the day.
Though the administration maintained a stoic silence, cremation grounds are now seeing a rush. While 11 bodies were cremated at Vedvyas, three were buried at Khatkurbahal and elsewhere in Sundargarh district.

On the fourth floor of the DrikPath Bhobon, an excerpt of a nine-month project, exploring documents and local histories of print in Dhaka and its production technologies, is on display. The framework of the exhibition comes from Mara Züst s research for her project, Kolkata City of Print , in association with Pathshala.

Police have recovered the body of a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) from a mess adjacent to the university at Nayabazar area of Akhalia in Sylhet.
The deceased was identified as Tauhidul Alam Prattay (22), a third-year physics department student, reports our Sylhet correspondent quoting police.
Prattay was from Magura district s Mohammadpur area.
After receiving a 999 call, police recovered his body around 9:00 pm on Monday from room 6 on the the first floor of Shwapnil Super Market, where students had formed a mess, said Mohammad Nazmul Huda Khan, officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station.

A readymade garment worker was stabbed to death allegedly by his brother-in-law at Nayabazar in Narayanganj Sadar upazila early yesterday.
The victim Sumon Miah, 26, of Kishoreganj, used to live with his sister and her husband at a rented house in Nayabazar, said police.
Sumon s sister Hosne Ara, also a witness of the incident, said Sumon criticised her husband Habibullah, 32, for taking drugs and not providing any money for family expenditures.
At one point, the conversation turned into a feud and became violent as Sumon told Habibullah that he could not even provide milk to his infant child, she said.
