263,147 corona patients recover

LAHORE: Around 263,147 corona patients recovered in the public sector hospitals being run under the control of Specialized and P&SHD, while 2229 patients are recovered during the last 24 hours. This was disclosed by Barrister Nabeel Awan Secretary Specialised Healthcare Punjab Tuesday. He said that 7,491 beds were reserved in all govt. hospitals for corona patients, out of which 4,903 beds were unoccupied. Likewise, 1,623 beds reserved in govt hospitals and 985 beds were vacant so far. The Secretary SHC&MED said that in view of the surging pandemic, the department had arranged 3,307 beds in Isolation wards of all hospitals in the province, out of which, 2,571 beds were vacant.
PINS to continue MRI tests, CT scans during Eid holidays

LAHORE: Punjab Institute of Neurosciences (PINS) has announced that complex and expensive tests like MRI and CT scan will continue even during Eid holidays for general public.
MRI tests will be done from 8am to 12 midnight while CT scan facility will remain open at Punjab Institute of Neurosciences 24 hours a day to ensure timely diagnosis and immediate medical aid to patients suffering from accidents, especially head injuries. Executive Director, Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, Prof Dr Khalid Mehmood said the decision was taken on the orders of Secretary Specialised Healthcare Punjab Barrister Nabeel Awan which will be the first time that diagnoses facility in holydays will benefit hundreds of patients.
1,883 patients recover in Punjab

LAHORE: Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&MED), Punjab has said 2,60,918 corona patients are recovered in the public sector hospitals while 1,883 patients are recovered during the last 24 hours.
In a statement issued here on Monday, SHC&MED Secretary Barrister Nabeel Ahmed Awan said that 7,489 beds were reserved in all government hospitals for corona patients, out of which 4,877 beds were unoccupied. Likewise, 1,623 beds reserved in government hospitals of the provincial metropolis and 945 beds were vacant so far.
The secretary said that in view of the surging corona pandemic, the department had arranged 3,307 beds in isolation wards of all government hospitals in the province, out of which, 2,574 beds were vacant.
81 more die from corona in Punjab

LAHORE:Around 81 patients died from COVID19 and another 1,638 positive cases were confirmed in Punjab during the last 24 hours.
According to report issued by Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) on Sunday, the toll of fatalities reached 9,032 in Punjab, while confirmed cases became 317,972 in the province.
After 9,032 fatalities and recovery of a total of 269,355 patients so far, 39,585 active cases still remain, who are either isolated at homes or under treatment in different public and private hospitals. ‘2,385 patients recover’: Over 2,59,035 corona patients are recovered in public sector hospitals while 2,385 patients are recovered during the last 24 hours.
252,208 corona patients recover in Punjab

LAHORE: Around 252,208 corona patients recovered in the public sector hospitals being run under the control of Specialised and Primary & Secondary Healthcare departments, while 1963 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.
This was disclosed by Barrister Nabeel Ahmed Awan Secretary Specialised Healthcare Punjab Thursday. He said that 7,521 beds were reserved in all government hospitals for corona patients, out of which 4,763 beds were unoccupied. Likewise, 1,623 beds reserved in government hospitals of the provincial metropolis and 920 beds were vacant so far.
The Secretary SHC&MED said that in view of the surging corona pandemic, the department had arranged 3,412 beds in Isolation wards of all hospitals in the province, out of which, 2,602 beds were vacant.
