  The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) are celebrating World Breastfeeding Week 2021 from August 1 – 7, 2021. This year’s theme is Protect Breastfeeding: A Shared Responsibility. DOH-Pasco is observing World Breastfeeding week by participating in The West Coast Breastfeeding Taskforce’s Big Latch On, a drive-thru and tailgate event on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This event will be at DOH-Hernando located at 7551 Forest Oaks Blvd. in Spring Hill. In addition, DOH Pasco is participating in a free breastfeeding photo shoot and celebration for Black Breastfeeding Week on Saturday, Aug. 21 at Sprigs Studio located in Ybor City.
