Country star Kevin Fowler is coming to San Antonio area

Country fans, a popular singer is coming to the San Antonio area this weekend. Kevin Fowler is set to perform at The Backyard Amphitheater in Fredericksburg on Saturday, May 8. The concert will start at 7 p.m., according to the Facebook event page. According to the venue s website, tickets are $20 for general admission, $55 for preferred seating, and $75 for VIP seating. Born in Amarillo, Fowler s musical journey began playing in rock bands before finding his footing as a solo act in the early 2000s in his home state where he burst onto the scene with the celebrated album Beer, Bait and Ammo.

At its Jan. 19 meetihg the Alton school board unaminously approved offering a Transitional Math QL- Stats class to be taught to seniors at the high school. Illinois is requiring every high school to offer a transitional math course in conjunction with a local community college. The three different pathways the Transitional Math program offers are STEM, Technical, and Quantitative Literacy/Statistics. Alton High School will be offering the Quantitative Literacy/Statistics pathway.
