Pune mayor’s nudge for Kharadi CCC operational ByVijay ChavanVijay Chavan / Updated: Apr 20, 2021, 06:00 IST A day after Mirror published the news as to how a wellequipped 200-bed COVID care centre ( CCC) in Kharadi is ready with all the basic facilities since three months, but still lying unused and completely neglected from the planning, Mayor Muralidhar Mohol asked the health department of Pune Municipal Corporation ( PMC) to make this facility operational in the next few days. It has also been instructed to make 50 oxygen beds operational. As per the plan, apart from the 50 oxygen beds, 300 additional beds will be utilised as an isolation facility. The centre is located inside Late Vithoba Pathare Sports Complex –cum-auditorium in Kharadi Gaothan area located just a few meters away from the Eon IT Park and Magarpatta-Kharadi Road.
