Mumbai: Municipal Corporation Greater Mumbai (BMC), on Monday, issued quarantine guidelines for passengers arriving from the United Kingdom in light of the new strain of coronavirus detected in the European nation. According to the latest guidelines, no RT-PCR test will be conducted on arrival. However, the RT-PCR test will be conducted during the fifth to seventh days at the cost of the quarantined passengers.
The latest guidelines issued by BMC mandate that all the passengers arriving from the UK, directly or through indirect flights will be subjected to mandatory institutional quarantine at their own cost, in the nearby hotels for seven days.
