PORTLAND An altercation last week involving a knife has led to charges against a town resident.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported Friday it responded to an incident around 6:22 a.m. Dec. 5 on Route 20. Through investigation, deputes found that Adam T. Ossman, 30, did pull a knife on the victim placing them in fear of injury.
Ossman was later charged with second-degree menacing and issued an appearance ticket. Ossman will answer to the charges in the Town of Portland Court at a later date.
