However, Disney fans in California were able to dust off their polka-dot Minnie dresses and mouse ears for a stroll down Main Street, USA this past weekend. The world’s happiest place is back but this time with masks. Disney’s fervent Californian fan base has had a difficult 14 months. Only two other times had the park been closed: after President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963 and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The park had never been closed for so long before. Its reopening, therefore, is a bit of a metaphor for rebirth: a chance to dream, escape, and travel once more. It’s not quite the same capacity is limited to 25%, and you can no longer hug Mickey but it’s a start.

To ring in Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Halfway to Halloween  campaign, the Mouse House dropped a short teaser for Muppets Haunted Mansion, which arrives on Disney+ sometime this fall. The comedic announcement, made by Gonzo and Pepe the King Prawn, was short on details, but the official release promises  a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, all-new music, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together.
