Nimbus Arts Festival To Take Place May 22nd
(JERSEY CITY, NJ) Nimbus leads Jersey City and statewide audiences back to live performance with the first annual, star-studded, outdoor Nimbus Arts Festival, presented on the Harborside Campus on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 7:00pm. The event features a lineup of nationally-renowned and locally-loved performing artists including Nimbus Dance, Jersey City’s hometown dance company, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, co-presentations with Segunda Quimbamba Puerto Rican Folkloric Center, Riverview Jazz Festival and Hudson West Folk Festival, the Festival offers world-class arts in a laid-back and socially-distanced atmosphere, complete with food trucks, drink refreshments by CoolVines, and artisan vendors.

A Memorial Mass was held April 24, at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, for Joseph “Wiggles” Coletta, 84, a lifelong resident of Downtown Jersey City. He passed away Feb. 25. Joseph was a retired maintenance worker for the Jersey City Board of Education. Joseph loved hanging out at the club playing cards and visiting the racetrack. Joseph was the beloved son of the late John and Angelina Coletta; dear brother of the late Frank Coletta; cherished nephew of Ann Magnatta; loving cousin of Stella & Michael Santopietro and many other cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Due to Covid, interment was private at the family plot in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
