CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The local talents of Emmalee and Nightmasters performing at Downtown Commons echoed throughout Clarksville for another night of the Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series.  Sari and Tom from the Q108 morning show shared the stage with the bands and kept the crowd energized as well as passing out free Downtown Commons T-shirts. Downtown @ Sundown is free and open to the public and happens on the first and third Fridays of each month through October. Downtown Clarksville open container law: What you need to know

A few doors down, Marcus Jack isn t so sure Clarksville s version of Beale Street and Bourbon Street is a grand idea.  We already have issues with people on the streets at night, said Jack, the general manager of Tarboosh Mediterranean Cuisine.

Public Library s summer reading program back in-person, begins June 7

Clarksville NowThe Clarksville-Montgomery library begins its Tails and Tales summer reading program June 7. CLARKSVILLE, TN – Readers of all ages will explore the animal kingdom this summer as the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library presents “Tails and Tales” as its summer reading program theme. Educational activities for all ages include songs, games, crafts, art projects, science and engineering experiments and more. This year’s summer reading program will include hybrid offerings and in-person story times, among other activities. New to this year’s program are two weekly events at the Downtown Commons on Mondays and Fridays. On Mondays, the Commons will host an in-person story time at 10 a.m.
