Destiny 2 Armor Synthesis Guide: How Transmogrification Works In The Season Of The Splicer
The new armor transmogrification system is live in Destiny 2 here s how to access it and how it works.
The Season of the Splicer brings a new customization system to Destiny 2: transmogrification. The system allows you to change armor pieces to look like other armor pieces, giving you a greater degree of cosmetic control of how your Guardian looks. But the transmogrification system, called Armor Synthesis, is a pretty dense and confusing one. It requires you to gather and use new kinds of currency to buy new bounties and centers on Ada-1 in the Tower.

Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer is here, and with it, Bungie added a host of new features to its flagship looter.
Season of the Splicer adds the long-awaited Transmog system (also called Armor Synthesis), which lets fans change the looks of their Guardian’s armor without altering their stats. Also part of Splicer, fans will delve back into Destiny’s original raid, the Vault of Glass, later this month.
This season sees the return of Mithrax, the Kell of Light, a Fallen commander that Destiny fans have helped out several times since
Destiny 2’s launch. Mithrax and his crew will help Guardians defeat the Vex, as the time-traveling robots have locked the Last City in a cycle of endless night.
