The new armor transmogrification system is live in Destiny 2 here s how to access it and how it works.
The Season of the Splicer brings a new customization system to Destiny 2: transmogrification. The system allows you to change armor pieces to look like other armor pieces, giving you a greater degree of cosmetic control of how your Guardian looks. But the transmogrification system, called Armor Synthesis, is a pretty dense and confusing one. It requires you to gather and use new kinds of currency to buy new bounties and centers on Ada-1 in the Tower.

Destiny 2‘s Season of the Splicer kicks off May 11, tasking players with hacking the Vex Network from the inside, revisiting the fabled Vault of Glass raid, and changing up their looks with an overly complex transmog system.
Season 14 looks to be all about those pesky Vex. The ancient metal warriors threaten to plunge the Last City into endless night, and the only way to stop them (aside from endlessly shooting at them) is to hack the network.
