Rockland Police seek information as search continues for Tyler Gricus

ROCKLAND  Rockland Police are seeking information as law enforcement officers continue to search the area for a Rockland man who was last seen April 9, 2021.  On April 12, 2021, Tyler Gricus was reported missing to the Rockland Police Department. Gricus was staying on a boat in Rockland Harbor, and is believed to have been on foot in Rockland at the time he was last seen, according to Rockland Police, in a news release. The Police Department has provided the following timeline: The same day as the missing persons’ report, Maine Marine Patrol used cameras to conduct a search around the boat in Rockland Harbor. A search of the shore line in that area was also conducted. Gricus was not located.

Driver airlifted to hospital after Thomaston high-speed chase

Updated: 9:56 AM EST March 9, 2021 THOMASTON, Ga. A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a Thomaston high-speed chase ended in a crash Tuesday morning. According to Thomaston Fire Department Fire Chief Renee Harris, the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the corner of South Church Street and Veterans Drive. Harris says the fire department responded to an accident with a motorcycle. Thomaston Police told the fire department the wreck was the result of a high-speed chase, and the motorcycle had a range of speed from 100-150 mph, Harris says. The driver lost control coming around the corner of the road when they drove into a telephone pole. They were later airlifted to the nearest trauma unit.

Ferguson worked at the hotel when it was a Holiday Inn during the 1980s and ’90s. After spending time in Arkansas, Ferguson returned to Waterbury to be closer to family and took a job at the Marriott as a line cook, the only open position at the time.
